Controlled pre- and post-application skid testing was used to evaluate the effectiveness of a high-friction surface treatment under dry and wet roadway conditions. The testing demonstrated measurable increases in available pavement friction, with the most substantial and consistent improvements occurring under wet conditions.

Moreda Consulting LLC utilizes unmanned aerial systems (UAS), commonly referred to as drones, to perform high-resolution aerial scanning of accident scenes for the purpose of generating precise, full-scale diagrams. The drone captures hundreds of georeferenced images from multiple angles, which are then processed using photogrammetry software to create an accurate, measurable 2D orthomosaic and 3D model of the scene. This technology allows for the precise documentation of roadway geometry, vehicle rest positions, tire marks, debris fields, and fixed reference points. Because every point within the model is spatially scaled, measurements such as distances, sight lines, and impact locations can be analyzed with engineering-level accuracy long after the scene has been cleared. These drone-generated diagrams provide a powerful visual and analytical tool that enhances reconstruction accuracy and allows complex accident dynamics to be clearly demonstrated in reports, depositions, and courtroom testimony.
