Accident Reconstruction & Investigation
Technical analysis of motor vehicle collisions using physical evidence, vehicle dynamics, roadway evidence, photographs, video, electronic data and witness testimony to evaluate how and why a collision occurred.
Vehicle Inspections & Electronic Data
Vehicle inspections and retrieval of available electronic data can provide important information about the circumstances surrounding a collision. Services include vehicle damage documentation, Event Data Recorder (EDR) downloads, commercial vehicle inspections and analysis of available vehicle data in conjunction with the physical evidence.
Scene Documentation & Forensic Mapping
Accurate scene documentation can preserve critical evidence and provide the foundation for detailed reconstruction analysis. Services include 3D laser scanning, UAS/drone mapping, photogrammetry and other measurement techniques used to document roadway geometry, evidence locations and the overall collision scene.
Specialized Collision Analysis
Specialized analysis is available for pedestrian, motorcycle, e-scooter and commercial vehicle collisions, as well as other incidents requiring evaluation beyond a traditional passenger-vehicle reconstruction. Each investigation is tailored to the specific evidence and technical issues presented by the case.
Traffic, Roadway & Construction Analysis
Evaluation of roadway design, traffic controls, work zones and construction-related conditions that may have contributed to an incident. Analysis may include traffic engineering principles, roadway geometry, sight distance, pavement conditions, applicable standards and construction or code-related issues.
Slip, Trip & Fall Investigation
Investigation and technical analysis of slip, trip and fall incidents involving walking surfaces, sidewalks, stairs, curbs, changes in elevation and other property conditions. Analysis may include scene documentation, measurements, 3D scanning, photographs, applicable codes and standards, lighting and visibility, surface conditions and evaluation of potential contributing factors.
Litigation & Expert Support
Technical support throughout the litigation process, from early case screening and evidence review through reconstruction, reporting, deposition and trial testimony. Services may also include demonstrative exhibits, computer-aided diagrams, simulations and animations to clearly communicate technical findings.
