Led by ACTAR-accredited accident reconstructionist Martin Moreda, the firm combines extensive investigative experience with specialized training in accident reconstruction, vehicle dynamics, electronic vehicle data and forensic scene documentation.
Our role is not to advocate for a predetermined outcome. It is to examine the available evidence, apply accepted reconstruction principles and provide clear, technically supportable opinions regarding what the evidence can — and cannot — establish.

Accident reconstruction requires more than calculations. It requires an understanding of how collisions are investigated, how evidence is documented and preserved, and how individual pieces of evidence relate to the circumstances of the event.
Martin Moreda brings extensive law-enforcement investigative experience together with specialized training in accident reconstruction and forensic analysis. His work includes the evaluation of physical evidence, vehicle damage, roadway evidence, photographs and video, witness testimony, electronic vehicle data and collision dynamics.
From initial case review through deposition and trial, the objective remains the same: provide attorneys with an independent technical assessment grounded in the available evidence.

Moreda Consulting provides litigation support grounded in extensive field investigation, collision reconstruction and traffic-engineering experience. Martin Moreda has investigated more than 1,000 motor vehicle collisions and reconstructed more than 500 serious crashes, and he has served as an on-call supervisor for fatal and serious-bodily-injury collision investigations. He is also a co-founder and supervisor of the Hudson County Regional Fatal Collision Unit.
As an ACTAR-accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist and a qualified expert in Hudson County Superior Court, Martin brings specialized training in crash reconstruction, commercial motor vehicles, motorcycles, pedestrian and bicycle collisions, Event Data Recorder analysis, video analysis, roadway design, traffic engineering and courtroom testimony.
From early case review through deposition and trial, the focus is on identifying the technical issues that matter, evaluating the available physical and electronic evidence, and developing clear, technically supportable opinions that can be effectively communicated to attorneys, judges and juries.
